For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, today marks the longest day of the year. For me, today is my birthday! To celebrate, I'm finally getting around to starting the blog and I'm beginning it with one of my favorite four-fold geometries. This construction creates a shape that I use on my Isfahan Quilt. Grab your compass, a straight-edge and some paper. I use watercolor or mixed media sketchbooks so that I can use watercolor pencils to highlight the design at the end. Enjoy!
